Whenever one is feeling under the weather, it is common to take their temperature in order to ensure that they do not have a fever. Taking your body temperature is vital as it indicates whether one is healthy or not. This means that an unstable body temperature can lead to a plethora of other illnesses which can become quite tough for one to overcome. The body temperature can vary based on many factors: a person’s age, the time of day, their recent activity, and their food intake. Having a stable body temperature is crucial as it allows your enzymes in your body’s cells to function properly.
A fever is considered if one has a body temperature of at least 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a normal illness temperature, but a high fever can go up till 103.1 degrees Fahrenheit. Such a temperature is quite high and can start to become dangerous. Still, a very high fever would be considered as 105.8 degrees Fahrenheit and one would definitely have to go to the hospital. We believe that keeping track of one’s body temperature every now and then is important to keep one healthy and safe. it more difficult for them to cool down.

For kids, a normal body temperature is 97.52 degrees Fahrenheit. This is lower than it is for babies and this is due to the fact that they are developing and their bodies functions are starting to change at this age.
Adults usually have a range of normal body temperatures and this is because it starts to vary based on race, gender, and past medical conditions. Usually their body temperatures can range from 97.2-98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. However, it all depends on if they have any underlying conditions and their roots as well.
