As most people are aware, it is important to stay healthy no matter your situation, whether you may be busy or not. This is to maintain your fitness levels, and also prevent one from getting weak or unhealthy. There are many ways to maintain fitness, may it be through running, walking, biking, or swimming. These are just a few ways to do this, but in order for this to successfully happen, one must develop their lower back muscles. Developing these muscles allows one to add strength to themselves and prevent any injuries. This as well takes some types of exercise but it is not one to injure you, it will rather bring strength especially if you are an individual who is out of shape. A few exercises that can help with this are planks or glute bridges.

Starting off, are glute bridges which are essentially where one works their glute muscles and allow that to extend to their lower back. It is performed by extending a person’s hips as if they are standing up from a squat. This helps with rotation for when the hip and knee move away from the body. This means that it acts as a lower back mediator and can aid as a mobilizer. Doing these exercises may relax some of your muscles and can build muscles in the glutes which can help with many other exercises such as squats, lunges, and more.
One may also do planks which usually work the abdominals, but may also help the arms, shoulders, hips, and feet to stabilize the entire body. This can activate the back muscles and strengthen that part for other exercises and allows it to aid the entire body posture. The way to do this exercise can be through first lying on the stomach with arms and elbows in line with the shoulders. Then it is vital to bring your stomach off the ground and tighten your abdominal and glute muscles to bring in the full effect of the exercise. Doing so, can aid the entire body rather than just one area.
Doing these exercises along with over stretching and strengthening oneself physically can really improve physical health but can also prepare you to do more strenuous exercises. This is due to the fact that these are more like an introduction to what may follow and allow one to pursue what they are best at and keeps them happy as well as healthy. Instead of focusing on becoming the best at every sport very fast, it is okay to start slow and get strong back, glute, arm, and leg muscles first. Having that as a foundation makes it easier to excel in those sports as you just need to then perform the action instead of gaining that extra push of strength first. With extra practice, you can be better than you imagined.
