The Gastrointestinal System
Human beings rely a lot upon the support that the Gastrointestinal system gives us. We require its ability to digest food and give us energy. The Gastrointestinal system is made up of multiple organs, each of which help contribute to the body’s health. It is what contributes to most of the energy made in the body. The organs never stop working and are part of an involuntary process not This article will break down the parts and importance of the Gastrointestinal system.

Overview of the Gastrointestinal Tract
The GI tract is a series of concave organs joined in a long, twisting tube from the mouth to the anus. The concave organs that make up the GI tract are the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and anus. The liver, pancreas, and gallbladder are the organs of the digestive system that do most of the work and are solid. The small intestine has three different parts. The first part is called the duodenum and its followed by the jejunum and the ileum is after it. The large intestine includes the excursus, cecum, colon, and rectum. The excursus is a cutlet- shaped bag attached to the cecum. The cecum is the first part of the large intestine. The colon is after this and The rectum is near the end of the large intestine.
How the Gastrointestinal system works
Each part of your digestive system helps to move food and liquid through your GI tract. They also help break down the good into liquid and/or more digestible solids so that it can move to the next part of the system. Once foods are broken into small enough parts, your body can absorb the nutrients and give it to their body for energy. Your large intestine absorbs water, and the waste products of digestion come coprolite. Jitters and hormones help control the digestive process.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the GI tract is important for survival and helps us absorb the necessary amount of nutrients. It is continuously working to get the proper amount of food and without it we would be unable to dispose of waste in the body and we would also be unable to absorb calories from our food. It is very important for our health and happiness.
